Music Therapy
Music accompanies and moves us – inwardly and outwardly. Because music and emotions are closely connected, music gives us the opportunity to experience our feelings, to engage with them and to express them.
With the help of various scientifically researched methods, music therapy can help us to perceive ourselves and other people more consciously, perhaps even to experience them anew. This creates space to sense everything for which no words can be found at first. In this way, our own relationship and communication abilities can be discovered and changed.
We offer individual and group music therapy, in which these experiences can be made tangible through shared singing, making music and listening to music.
Music therapy has been an integral part of the overall treatment concept of the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy for over 20 years. It is now available on all wards, in the day clinic and in the outpatient area.
