This ward is a closed (secure) ward with 20 beds, on which patients with more severe mental disorders are treated whose symptoms have become so acute that particularly careful treatment conditions are required. Acute life crises can also be given effective help here. Sometimes such acute states are associated with a risk to oneself or to others. Alongside medication, the focus here is on targeted psychotherapeutic interventions. The aim of treatment is to transfer the patient as quickly as possible to the inpatient or outpatient therapy area.
